Raised by artists in the tallgrass prairies of Nebraska, I care about creating meaningful places, fostering connection, and making beauty together as a way to uplift the human spirit.
I'm a landscape architect by training, and for the last four years I've worked for a technical assistance program of the National Park Service, managing projects across the Great Plains and beyond - to Puerto Rico and even Greenland.
This portfolio is a largely a summary of that work with small towns, community groups, local governments, and Native Nations to plan and design parks, long-distance trails, campuses, therapeutic gardens, bicycle/pedestrian infrastructure, and natural areas.
I’ve lived, worked, and conducted research in diverse international settings—from Bhutan and Norway to Chile and Nicaragua—making me a confident facilitator of community-based design and a skilled cross-cultural collaborator.
I thrive...
...in collaborative, diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
...on projects that seek to creatively include community input.
...working at multiple scales, from the messy big picture to the smallest details.
...managing projects with many working pieces.
