Partnered with the Sioux Falls School District to develop a 9-acre outdoor learning environment at Renberg Elementary, grounded in the Oceti Sakowin Essential Understandings—a K–12 curriculum focused on South Dakota Native American heritage. Collaborated closely with the district superintendent, educators, and the Office of Indian Education to ensure Indigenous perspectives and educational priorities guided the concept design. The landscape vision includes a medicine wheel gathering space, nature trails, accessible gardening area, and installations by Indigenous artists. Provided technical assistance, phased implementation strategy, funding recommendations and a master project timeline to support long-term delivery and program integration.
